Dear Lekiddo,

Tara & David's Wedding
Tara M (The Bride): "YOU WERE AMAZING!!! X
EVERYONE loved your set, it made the wedding and I thank you from
the bottom of my heart for performing at my wedding!! Xxx"
Kate B: David and Tara's wedding yesterday in Kent will stay with me for the rest of my life.
LEKIDDO - Lord of The Lobsters! was the biggest hit of the night!
Lexy P: Oh yeah, and Lekiddo Arbuah aka "Lord
of Lobsters" was performing at the wedding too at the weekend.
You
know, after being at Glastonbury a couple of months ago!! Show us
your claws!!
Greetings, Lekiddo! All
hail the Lord!
My fiancé and I saw you at Glastonbury back in June last year. It
was the best unplanned attendance
at the whole festival and is one
of our favourite memories of the whole week. Thank you for being damned
unique and for tripping us out with the gift of your talent, tent,
claws and infectious audience inducing tunes!
What impressed us the most was the hypnotic yet confused reaction
of those entering your tent, and after a
few seconds only everyone
succumbing to your ultimate power and being beautifully converted
without knowing how!
I'm basically writing to enquire whether you might be open to a cameo
at our wedding...
It would be quite awesome for you to do a set in the evening at our
special day.
It would also be a brilliant surprise for my lady.

Lekiddo's music is the ultimate in feel-good fun with a generous dose of eccentricity thrown in. 'Beautiful London', a sunny tribute to the capital, is a vibrant mix of pop, rap and a chorus straight out of infectious musical theatre. A joyous guide through the city, 'Beautiful London' lovingly dances and leaps through the sights and sounds of the city including Buckingham Palace, the parks, the theatres and the markets. And there's no rain or commuter misery in sight. If anything, 'Beautiful London' makes me more proud to be a Londoner than last year's Olympics!
Other delightful songs include the disco anthem to holiday good times 'To The Beach' and the brilliantly bonkers narrative-driven 'This Cafe' with an array of distinctive larger-than-life characters.

This summer, Lekiddo - Lord of the Lobsters will be spreading the Pinchy Pinchy Kiss Kiss love on the Life's a Beach! stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, Theatre & Circus at Glastonbury Festival and, for the fifth year running, Lounge On The Farm.
Let's make Summer 2013 the Summer of Lobsters!

St Pauls Lifestyle met
Lekiddo Lord of the Lobsters at Longitude for Latitude earlier this
week. PinchyPinchyKissKiss!
In
the run up to Latitude Festival Rose went up to London to 'Longitude'
at The Hospital Club - a pre event for the Festival - where she
met the Lord of the Lobsters. Read all about that
evening here and Latitude
here.
With
the #PinchyPinchyKissKiss dance this lobster loving entertainer is
on the surreal end of the scale but the love for him is growing fast!
Everyone who sees him perform seems to rave about how happy he made
them feel which cant' be a bad thing! He certainly had that effect
on Rose.
As well as Latitude Festival you can find Lekiddo playing Glastonbury 2013, Lounge on the Farm 2013 and The Isle of Wight Festival 2013 bringing at least the metaphorical sunshine with him.
Thanks for sending 'this cafe' - IT'S A WORK OF GENIUS! WELL DONE YOU!

Muso’s Guide Singles Club: 29 August 2011by Chenaii MadhooLEKIDDO Lord of The Lobsters!
‘This Cafe’
On first listen, ‘This Cafe’ is unfathomable! Why, because it initially appears to be a geezer rapping nonsensically over a pseudo-dub/ska beat no disrespect to LEKIDDO. However on further plays, the mystery of the ‘nonsense’ unravels to reveal a very catchy and infectious song. This Cafe draws on the ancient oral tradition of telling stories of everyday life handed down in many families mediated through culture and music. Previous recording artistes have popularised this tradition and have frequently featured in the UK charts notably Mike Skinner
(aka The Streets), dub poet, Linton Kwesi Johnson, and punk-era raconteur and poet, John Cooper Clarke. The difference between his predecessors and LEKIDDO however, is that none of them had adopted the persona of a lobster: yes, I kid you not. Crustacean persona aside, ‘This Cafe’ delivers on entertainment, beat, repetition of the hook ‘this cafe is a happening cafe/ I said “yeah”/ this cafe is a happening cafe’- and infectiousness! Unusual yes, but I dare you not move dance even- once you’ve settled into the rhythm of the song. A must for those who need their mood lifted.

… boy, what a finale he gave us. After teaching the audience some
beautiful dance moves to use during the chorus, he launched into a
song about beaches, cocktails and, of course, disco. There was something
so radiant and modest about Lekiddo that made me want to get the dance
just right and make him happy. As I turned round, I saw the
whole tent doing the movements and gazing at him in the same way that
I must have been. During the applause he looked bashful and
flattered which made me like him even more. Lekiddo you are something
special. Pinchy Pinchy kiss kiss!
LOBSTER QUADRILLE MAGAZINE
(blog: LEKIDDO - Many Are Called...)
Album reviews
"...The cover shows a picture of our hero's naked manly torso,
but this is no 50 Cent album. What we're talking about here is seriously
positive vibes (The Dawn), pumping beats and some choice lyrics. Many
Are Called for example intersperses Lekiddo's sensual singing with
a chant of "rumpy-pumpy-rumpy-pumpy."
Let Me Love You All Over speaks for itself, and I would expect to
hear it early in the morning on a beach in Ibiza. What's impressive
on all the tracks is the production levels and Lekiddo's smooth voice.
In The Disco shows that our man is a good songwriter too. "Dance,
dance my lady, dance, in the disco we are not alone," is the sort
of lyric I can dig.
